What is the Harvest Marathon Relay?

The Harvest Marathon Relay is a 26.2-mile timed team running event.  This year, teams can compete in person or remotely.

 

When:  October 16, 2022


In-Person Teams:  Start at 7:00 a.m. at Rice University with a 4-hour time limit.

Remote Teams:  Start at 7:00 a.m. using RaceJoy app with a 4-hour time limit.

Competitive Teams:  Start at 8:00 a.m. at Rice University with a 3-hour time limit.


A note to ALL teams:

STRATEGY IS IMPORTANT! 

Go to the race registration page

Did you know that two teams have exactly the same WORLD RECORD finishing times?


Shell We Take This Too Serious finished the race in 2019 at 2:17:21, which is exactly the finishing time for Team INEOS in 2021.  


What are the odds?  Who do you expect to prevail this year?

2018 Harvest Marathon Relay

Welcome to the second annual Harvest Marathon Relay at Rice University.  This year's winner, Shell - We take this too serious, finished the race in 2:24:11.  They were followed by Sharpstown High School and Dow Team 2, both finishing under two and a half hours.

2017 Harvest Marathon Relay

Welcome to the first annual Harvest Marathon Relay. The inaugural event was held at Clements High School in Sugar Land.   The Shell team finished first with a time of 2:45.
